The members seek fair wages and seniority protections to ensure a just and respectful workplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur members are holding the line at IKEA,\u201d&nbsp;<strong>said IAM Eastern Territory General Vice President David Sullivan.<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cThe company has to return with an offer that most members can get behind. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) also urged IKEA\u2019s Perryville distribution center management<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0to offer a fair contract to IAM members in a\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goiam.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/IKEA-Workers-Strike-12-2-24.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">letter.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers is one of North America\u2019s largest and most diverse industrial trade unions, representing approximately 600,000 active and retired members in the aerospace, defense, airlines, railroad, transit, healthcare, automotive, and other industries.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a
